What is Pennsylvania Act 105?

The Law

Steering Committee

PAATH, which stands for Pennsylvania Alliance Against the Trafficking of Humans, is a group of organizations dedicated to fighting domestic sex trafficking. After the passage of Act 105, which updated existing trafficking laws to better protect victims of trafficking, to prosecute sex buyers and exploiters, and to prevent trafficking from happening in the first place, PAATH is making sure the law is followed.

This website publicizes the changes made by Pennsylvania’s Act 105 and seeks to draw attention to how our perception of prostitution influences the treatment of women and men victimized by sex trafficking.
